Sichuan Peppercorns


Ingredients: Sichuan peppercorns

Fragrant, with notes of citrus and pine, Sichuan peppercorns are famous for adding unique flavor to dishes as well as a tingly, numbing sensation on the tongue and lips when used in large quantities.

Often pared with fiery chilies, Sichuan peppercorns can be used whole or ground in your stir fries, chili, rice dishes, burgers, pan fried vegetables, noodles, soups, and stews.

While not technically related to peppercorns, Sichuan peppercorns can be used in place of black pepper for an exotic twist to any meal.
