QUICK PICKLE INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring 2 cups Vinegar, 3 cups Water, 3 Tbsp. Kosher Salt, and 2 Tbsp. Pickling Mix to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 mins.
- Strain liquid and allow to cool slightly while you prepare your vegetables.
- Fill 2 mason jars full of prepared vegetable, then pour the warm picking brine over the vegetables.
- Once the filled jars have cooled to room temperature, cover, and store in fridge for up to a week.
You can also try adding fresh dill or garlic to your pickles to add more flavor, and if you like sweeter pickles, try adding 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of sugar to your brine before boiling.
TIP: The hotter the liquid you pour over your vegetables, the softer they will become, so if you prefer crunchier pickled vegetables, let the brine cool to room temperature before pouring into jars, especially with softer vegetables like cucumbers.
