Commonly found in Scandinavian, Indian, & Middle Eastern cooking, green cardamom pods will add an intense spicy sweet flavor with floral and citrus undertones to both your sweet and savory dishes.

Add slightly crushed pods to your rice, lentils, curries, casseroles, and stews. To enhance sweet dishes, you can add ground cardamom seeds to your homemade ice cream, pudding, custards, and baked goods.

When grinding green cardamom, you can either grind the pods whole or remove the outer husk before grinding for a more intense flavor.

For a delicious coffee treat, brew ground cardamom seeds along with your coffee. Use the seeds from 4 cardamom pods per each cup of coffee.
