Birria is a delicious Mexican beef stew that’s slow cooked until the meat is fall-apart tender. Serve as a stew with warm tortillas or, using fat skimmed from the stew, fry up a tortilla with the stew meat and cheese. Dip your Birria taco in the stew broth for a messy, yet tasty treat.

Try with any slow-cooked meat like brisket, ribs, pork butt, or chuck roast. This seasoning blend also makes a great Tex-Mex dressing when mixed with oil and lime juice. Serve over a fresh tossed taco salad or pasta salad.
