Bay Leaves, Organic


Ingredients: organic bay leaves (Turkey)

Bay leaves are commonly used to add a subtle depth of flavor to slow cooked soups, stews, stocks, pickles, and marinades.

Try adding 1-2 bay leaves to your next homemade beef stew, chicken noodle soup, chili, jambalaya, or tortilla soup. Add to the liquid when cooking rice or stuff into the cavity of a chicken before roasting it.

With a flavor that becomes more intense while it cooks, it is best to add bay leaves early in the cooking process, removing the bitter and sharp leaves before serving.
