Black garlic is soft, slightly sticky, and mildly sweet with savory, rich undertones, quite different from normal fresh garlic. With its tangy and subtle sweet flavors, similar to balsamic or tamarind, black garlic is perfect for giving your dishes that extra depth of umami flavor. The cloves are fermented for 60 days to be spread over bread, added to soups, or eaten whole.
