Berbere is a traditional Ethiopian seasoning blend that is peppery, savory, and extremely fragrant. It can be used as a dry rub for meat, as an ingredient in marinades, or sprinkled on fruits and vegetables. Berbere blends well with olive oil, perfect for roasted vegetables or to toss pasta or grains with. Try on avocado toast or sprinkled over cream cheese.
For a sweet and tasty snack, drizzle honey on fresh or dried pineapple, then sprinkle some Berbere on it.
Use 1 tbsp per pound of meat.
