Ingredients: purple tea
With less caffeine then black or green tea, and 15 times the super-antioxidants of blueberries, Kenyan purple tea offers a delicious well rounded taste similar to oolong with amazing health benefits. Kenyan purple tea is harvested from tea trees in Kenya that turn a purple color as they mature. This color is caused by a genetic mutation that produces the same powerful anti-oxidant found in blueberries, plums, and black grapes. While the mature leaves are a dark purple, Kenyan purple tea is a light pinkish brown color when brewed. Looking for a more vibrant colored purple tea? Try Butterfly Pea Flowers.
