Ingredients: fenugreek seeds (India)
An ancient Roman grain, fenugreek is sweet and nutty, with an aroma and flavor similar to maple syrup. Great to use in curries, legumes, rice, potatoes, lamb, and with root or green vegetables.
Soak whole seeds before using, or grind into a powder to use in spice blends and dry rubs. To balance the bitterness in fenugreek seeds, add a squeeze of lemon juice at the end of cooking.
